Yesterday Today Tommorrow
Propellers, Inc. was founded in 1970. After
receiving Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval we grew into one of the
largest propeller overhaul and service facilities in the Southeastern United
States. We are strategically
located in Opa Locka, Florida (Miami area).
by air at Opa Locka, Florida airport (OPF), we have overhauled and serviced the
flying public, worldwide, for over 30 years.
We are able to receive and/or ship propellers, governors, and control
units to any place on earth via major carriers daily.
Propellers, Inc. began by serving South Florida and the Bahamas in the early
1970ís and quickly found our customers sometimes were grounded days, awaiting
service on their propellers. We
decided to keep a good supply of loaner propellers to get our customers back in
the air faster, and in many cases, flying to our customerís location to make
repairs of the aircraft itself, eliminating the removal and shipping of the
have literally covered Central and South America to get a grounded aircraft
flying again. Even if all that was required was an eddy current
inspection, tightening of a loose blade or servicing an oil leak on a new
propeller under warranty.
Propellers, Inc. is now, and has been a distributor for most propeller
manufacturers in the world. Our
management team includes professionals with extensive experience in the
propeller field. Our management has
focused on identifying and employing highly motivated individuals with a strong
dedication to quality and safety.
In the 1980ís Aviation
Propellers, Inc. acquired Propeller Service of Miami, Inc, approved F.A.A.
repair station XX4R66M, one of the oldest certified propeller facilities in the
United States, operating since 1946. Propeller Service of Miami, Inc. was in a
position, just after the end of World War II to overhaul many military and
transport type aircraft and has acquired a vast quantity of surplus parts,
which, for the most part are available today.
